FiiO FX17 packs a whopping 13-driver per side setup featuring one 10mm lithium-magnesium alloy dynamic driver with four high-performance custom Knowles BA drivers and eight SONION EST drivers on each side. These drivers are arranged together using a precisely crafted chamber featuring both electronic and physical five-way crossover channels. Each driver performs to the best of their abilities, and we are greeted with an unparalleled high-end sound experience. Using FiiO’s patented S.Turbo Acoustic design, the FX17 ensures that users are greeted with a deep, impactful bass response. FiiO FX17 is at the top of their IEM chain, and it has got this masterpiece tag because it is designed with extensive R&D. FiiO has equipped the pair with a 13-driver configuration per side, taking the benefit of dynamic driver, balanced armature drivers, and EST drivers. They feature one 10mm lithium-magnesium alloy dynamic driver unit that produces a deep and punchy bass response. It is combined with four custom-balanced armature drivers from the famous brand Knowles. Lastly, we have eight units of highly resolving EST drivers from SONION. This 13-driver setup is tuned to deliver an impressive acoustic response that brings you every detail effortlessly. The new flagship FX17 comes with a13-driver setup arranged with a professionally designed five-way electronic+physical crossover design. They have implemented a 3D printed cavity for the proper placement of each driver unit. With a carefully designed Electronic PCB, the electronic crossover is achieved where each driver is adjusted for the desired frequency band response. This five-way crossover not only ensures smooth sound response but also introduces a flat impedance curve, resulting in a good source across different devices. Inspired by the turbos in supercars, FiiO has implemented this special S.Turbo technology on the FX17. This technology is a patented property of FiiO. FiiO’s professional acoustic team has designed this Turbo-like internal chamber design that cleverly enhances the bass response with more punch and a clean textured finish. At the same time, this S.Turbo technology also filters out the excessive mid-high frequency band, resulting in a cleaner sound response. FiiO has optimised the rear cavity of FX17 for an enhanced sound response. They have dampened the rear vents to control the airflow and achieve an air-damping balance system between the front and rear cavities of the dynamic driver. It also enhances the low-frequency depth and results in enhanced clarity for the midrange frequencies. Pure Titanium Construction - FiiO FX17 has all the characteristics of a premium flagship set. The pair features solid titanium material construction from the inner cavity to the face covers, the entire shell is made up of high-purity Titanium material. It treats the pair with a high-strength, robust build structure. The shells are hand-polished and are treated with vapour deposition that gives the pair a lustrous, premium finish. Top-Quality Material Premium Hybrid Cable - FiiO bundles the FX17 with a high-purity, flagship-grade stock cable. It is a premium quality cable which is made using three different transmission material wire cores, including Gold, Silver, and Copper wire cores. The wire cores are forged at over 1000° and undergo secondary refining to form crystalline monocrystals. 22 pairs of ear tips included - Befitting its flagship hybrid IEM status, included with the FIIO FX17 are 22 pairs of various ear tips in different sizes* that ensure you will get a good fit with the sound signature you want.
